G&V were engaged as the lead fabricators for the construction of "Transmission", a site specific sculpture by artist Chris Fox for Moreton Bay Regional Council. Produced during 2013-2014 in Sydney and Brisbane. Utilising 150 metres of steel, realised thanks to intelligent modelling software and advanced fabrication techniques. G&V then delivered and installed the art work in February 2014 ready for the building to open in September 2014.

"Transmission" describes a passage of evolving knowledge, history and place. As the tubes separate, the idea of boundless and timeless global transmission and communication is produced. "Transmission" suggests past, present and future inhabitations, knowledges, and heritage.
